Welcome to Mediworks Rejuvenation Centre and Drip Lounge. We recommend an initial set of two Naturopathic visits. An Initial Naturopathic Consultation is followed by a Return Consultation 2 weeks apart. You will be given access to your online patient portal ahead of your appointment to fill out your New Patient intake form and upload any lab work or information that you would like to share with your Naturopathic Doctor (ND). This portal is secure and allows you to directly communicate with your ND or a member of your front desk staff.
Initial Naturopathic Consultation
The first consultation with one of our skilled naturopathic doctors takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. It includes detailed examinations of the new patient’s current symptoms, medical history, medicines, and supplements taken, as well as the suggestion of necessary blood work and supplements needed for further treatment.
With your input, your naturopathic doctor will propose a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your health goals.
Be sure to bring your completed Naturopathic Health Assessment form that was emailed to you at the time of your booking. If you do not have it completed, please arrive early to do so that you can make the most of your time with the doctor. Bring a list of your current medications and supplements.
Bring all X-rays, MRI, imaging, and lab results that pertain to your current condition.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, debit, Visa, and MasterCard
Provincial subsidies for naturopathic medicine were cut by the liberal government on January 1, 2002. At present, there is no MSP coverage available for visits to an ND unless you are on premium assistance. There is limited coverage for premium assistance patients; find out if you have coverage and whether your ND will see premium assistance patients before making an appointment. Most extended health plans (i.e., private plans usually through your employer) do cover visits to NDs. Most plans pay 80% of patient visits but make sure you clarify coverage with your benefits manager
PRE-APPOINTMENT CHECKLIST:
• Intake Forms-Try to complete them ahead of time and submit them in the patient portal. Otherwise arrive 15 minutes to complete
• Lab tests and imaging can bring to the visit or upload to the patient portal
• List of current medications & supplements-including brand, dose, and duration of use
Return Naturopathic Consultation
This can vary because of the individuality of each patient, their treatment plan, and availability. Typically we like to see patients every 2 weeks initially until improvement is seen and then less frequently. Once we feel that the patient is improving or has stabilized, visits are usually every 4 weeks until the resolution of their health concern
Return consultations can vary in time from 15-45min.
